Officers are investigating an armed carjacking in Seward Park Friday.
Officers responded to Seward Park just before 9 PM Friday when a woman called 911 to report her grey Chrysler 200 had been taken. The victim said that as she sat in the car with her friend, two black males in their 20s walked up, one on each side of the car, and asked to borrow a lighter. The suspect on the driver’s side then pointed a handgun at the female driver and ordered her and the passenger out of the car. Both victims exited and the two suspects stole the car.
Officers conducted an extensive area check, but were unable to find the suspects or stolen car.
