Anonymous Community Reporting Boxes Now Available to International District Residents

International District residents now have a new way to communicate concerns about their neighborhood to officers in the West Precinct.

The Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct Community Police Team has been working with International District residents to install anonymous reporting boxes IMAG0573to improve communication between the community and SPD.  On June 29th, SPD installed three suggestion boxes at Uwajimaya, the International District Community Center and the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority IDEA Space.

Residents can use the boxes to provide suggestions or ideas for improving SPD service in the community. Community members may also provide information on criminal activity or ongoing issues that you would like to bring to the attention of SPD.

West Precinct Community Police Team officers will check the boxes on a weekly basis.  If you wish to be contacted about your feedback, please provide your contact information. You are not required to provide contact information in order to submit a suggestion.

Please remember, if you need immediate police assistance or a police report please call 911 directly.
