Officers were called to the 300 block of James St. when a man was found at a bus stop with a stab wound.
A witness called 911 at 7:50 PM to report a man at a bus stop had suffered a stab wound in his stomach and needed medics. The caller said he didn’t see the attack, but the victim stated, before officers arrived, it occurred minutes earlier in Courthouse Park. Officers searched the park and found a small pool of blood near a bench, but people nearby said they didn’t see what had occurred.
Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call the Homicide/Assault tip line at (206)233-5000.
