Update: The suspect in last night’s homicide was arrested by police this morning.
Homicide detectives are investigating after two men were shot in High Point early this morning following a disturbance.
Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the 6900 block of 23 Ave SW just after 1:30 AM.
Two victims were found down in the street, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics arrived on scene and transported one victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The other victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
