Gang Unit detectives are investigating after a man was shot overnight following an argument outside a Central District business.
Witnesses called 911 just before 7 pm saying a 27-year-old man had been shot in the 1100 block of 23rd Avenue. Officers arrived within two minutes and found the victim who had been shot once in the leg. Seattle Fire medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told officers that the suspect and victim were having an argument just before they heard a gunshot. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect who was described as a black male wearing a red sweatshirt and pants and last seen running Eastbound along E. Union St.
