Robbery Unit detectives are investigating an early morning home invasion robbery that occurred in the 2100 block of 19th Avenue South.
Two unknown suspects forced their way inside the residence early Monday morning. The suspects, once inside, assaulted and robbed the three occupants of the house. The suspects were described as black males wearing masks and gloves. The victims said both of the suspects were armed with handguns.
The suspects left the house and the victims’ were able to call 911. Officers responded to the location at 4:30 am. Detectives later responded to the scene and began their investigation.
The victims’ injuries were minor and they received treatment at the scene. This remains an active and on-going investigation. Anyone with any information on this crime or saw anything unusual in the area in the early morning hours is urged to contact the robbery detectives at (206) 684-5535.
