Woman Stabbed in North Seattle Hotel, Suspect Arrested Nearby

A 24-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning after officers responded to a reported stabbing at a hotel in North Seattle.  The 23-year-old female victim is being treated at Harborview Medical Center for injuries to her neck and arm.

At about 2:30 am, officers responded to reports of a woman running down the hall bleeding and screaming for assistance inside a hotel located near N. 130th Street and Stone Avenue North.  The call was updated to state that the woman had been stabbed and that the suspect had fled the scene.  Officers arrived quickly and set up containment.  A K-9 team responded.  Officers located the victim inside one of the hotel rooms and determined that she had multiple wounds to her neck and arm.  She was able to provide officers with a brief description of the suspect.  Seattle Fire medics responded and treated the victim at the scene, and then transported her to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.  The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The suspect was located after a short K-9 track and was taken into custody without incident.  He was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.  Detectives will now handle the follow-up investigation.  This remains an active and on-going investigation.
