Detectives are investigating after a pursuit ended with a crash in the 7800 block of Lake City Way NE early Thursday morning.
Officers responding to a domestic violence call in the 13000 block of Lake City Way NE at 3:48 AM Thursday heard a shot fired and saw a silver car speeding away from the possible scene. Officers pursued the vehicle along Lake City Way Northeast when the vehicle suddenly lost control in the 7800 block. The suspect vehicle struck two parked cars and landed on its roof. One man died at the scene and a second person was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is currently being treated for his injuries.
Traffic collision investigators are now on scene collecting evidence and taking witness statements. This is an active and ongoing investigation and this post will be updated as we get additional details.
