Man Works Up Deep Down Body Thirst Breaking Window, Gets Arrested

West precinct officers arrested a man Monday morning after he broke a store window Downtown and stole some items before being caught feet from the crime scene.

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Pike St at 4 am today when a caller witnessed a man use a rock to break the window of a business.  The witness said the man entered the store and was still inside.

Officers arrived and found a 21-year-old man matching the description of the suspect drinking a sports drink just feet from the broken window. Officers interviewed the suspect who said he broke the window because he owned the business (he didn’t) and was hungry. Officers recognized the suspect as the same man who is suspected of breaking a window at the Seattle Police West Precinct in November.

Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for investigation burglary.
