Officers responded to a report of a male breaking into cars in a parking garage in the 1300 block of Madison Thursday afternoon. Just before 1:00 pm, officers located a suspect matching the description provided by the witness near that location. He was positively identified by the caller and connected to two other car prowls in the parking garage. After he was taken into custody, officers located burglary/car prowl tools and methamphetamine and heroin in his possession. The drugs were packaged for sale. He was later booked into the King County Jail for the drug charges and several misdemeanor charges as well as two warrants.
