Officers arrested an armed man in North Seattle after he fired two shots at his ex-girlfriend.
Officers responded to the 7500 block of 25 Ave NE after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Officers spoke with a woman who said she and her boyfriend had fired two shots at her following an argument on the street. The woman was not injured, but two rounds struck and damaged a nearby building.
Police arrested the suspect near the scene and recovered a handgun, which had previously been reported stolen.
Officers will book the suspect into King County Jail for investigation of assault and firearms charges.
