Suspected Prowler Arrested After Police Spot Him Peering Into Cars at Downtown Garage

Police arrested a 32-year-old suspected prowler Sunday after officers spotted him wandering through a downtown garage, shining a flashlight into parked cars.

Around 9:30 PM, officers saw the man walking from car to car in the garage at 2nd and Pike, trying door handles and shining his light in windows. Officers arrested the man as he left the garage.

Police didn’t find any prowled cars inside the garage, but booked the man for possession of stolen property after they found he was carrying someone else’s credit card and ID. Officers also recovered a stolen car inside the garage, which they believe the man had been using.
