Officers are investigating after a woman was shot multiple times in North Seattle overnight.
Witnesses began calling 911 just after 12 am Wednesday reporting shots fired in the 5200 block of 19 Ave Northeast. Officers arrived and found a woman who had been shot multiple times laying on the ground. Officers provided aid to the woman until Seattle Fire Medics were able to arrive and transport the woman to Harborview Medical Center.
Officers searched the area and located multiple 9mm shell casings. Dispatch notified officers of a robbery four blocks from where the shooting had occurred. Officers arrived at the reported robbery and determined that the two scenes may be related, but the robbery victim was not cooperative. Both victims described three black males as possible suspects in each case.
