Detectives are searching for two men seen running from a burning South Park coffee stand late Tuesday. The stand was damaged but there were no injuries in the incident.
Officers and Seattle Fire responded to 14th Avenue South and South Cloverdale Street Tuesday night just before 11:00 pm for a call of a coffee stand on fire. A witness reported seeing two men–both in their late teens to early 20’s, wearing black hooded sweatshirts and wearing masks–pour gas onto the structure and set it on fire. The suspects then fled on foot.
Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Arson/Bomb Squad at (206) 684-8980
