Officers Arrest Car Prowler in Pioneer Square Parking Garage During Football Game

West Precinct bicycle officers assigned to Sunday night’s football game located and arrested a car prowl suspect inside a parking garage.  The 48-year-old suspect was trespassing inside the structure and was near two cars that had just been prowled.

Officers Ryan Stone and Alexandra Harris were patrolling the parking garages surrounding the stadium.  They checked a garage in the 700 block of 1st Avenue where a car had been broken into.  A few hours later, the officers returned to the garage where they observed the known suspect inside next to several recently prowled cars.  The suspect was arrested for trespassing.  The officers searched the suspect, and he was found to be in possession of property from the previous car prowl.  He was also in possession of crack cocaine and heroin.  The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for narcotics, with requests for additional charges.
