Three Suspects Arrested Following Shots Fired Incident in South Park

Two adult suspects and one juvenile suspect were arrested Sunday following a shots fired incident in the South Park neighborhood.  There were no reported injuries.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in South Park around 10:50 am Sunday. Witnesses pointed out the location of where the shots were fired, and officers collected the spent shell casings, but did not locate any victims or property damage. Witnesses provided officers with descriptions of the suspects and a description of the suspect vehicle.  That information was shared with officers citywide as well as the King County Sheriff’s Office.

A short time later, a KCSO deputy travelling southbound on Delridge Way SW observed a vehicle matching the suspect description travelling northbound from SW Roxbury Street. The vehicle was occupied with three people, and the driver of the vehicle had his face covered with a bandana.  The deputy verified that the license plate on the vehicle matched that of the broadcast information.  Officers from KCSO and Seattle PD responded to Delridge Way SW and SW Cambridge Street and took three  suspects into custody. The suspects and the vehicle were subsequently identified and connected to the shooting incident at Seattle’s South Park neighborhood earlier. Two adult suspects were booked in KCJ and the third, a juvenile,  was booked into the Youth Services Center. The incident was referred to the Seattle Police Gang unit for follow up.
