In keeping with the Seattle Police Department’s commitment to transparency, SPD is releasing its Force Review Board findings as to the officer-involving shooting of Charleena Lyles. For purposes of providing a more complete record regarding the Department’s investigation, review, and analysis of policy, training, and tactical issues around this incident, the Department is also releasing, by way of attachments to the report, the force investigation and crime scene investigative reports, transcripts of officer interviews, prior responses to City Council regarding this matter, and its 2016 Taser report.
Responsive to an order from the Federal Court, these documents have also been filed with the Court.
