Detectives have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a rape that occurred Sunday evening in the East Precinct.
On Sunday, officers and detectives responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred inside a residence in the East Precinct. The female victim had been sexually assaulted and robbed inside her home. The victim was treated for her injuries at the hospital. Detectives were able to identify the adult male suspect during the course of the investigation and made the arrest in Seattle Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect was interviewed by detectives and later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of rape and robbery.
This remains an active and on-going investigation.
