A man in his 60s was killed Wednesday after he was struck by a driver while crossing against traffic on 15th Avenue West.
Around 10:15 AM, a man driving a Ford pickup was travelling northbound on 15th Avenue West, approaching West Armory Street.
Simultaneously, a pedestrian was crossing east to west across 15th Avenue when he was struck by the truck driver.
According to multiple witnesses at the scene, the pedestrian was crossing against a traffic signal at the time of the collision.
The driver was evaluated at the scene and no signs of impairment were found.
