Detectives are investigating after a man was stabbed in the Capitol Hill neighborhood Tuesday morning.
An employee at a coffee shop called 911 Tuesday morning when a 26-year-old man walked into their shop in the 100 block of Broadway with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The manager provided first aid to the victim until police arrived and took over. Medics arrived soon after and rushed the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told officers they heard an argument between the victim and unidentified person in a nearby alley shortly before the stabbing occurred. The witnesses said they saw a man running from the alley and described him as 6 feet tall, approximately 175 pounds, wearing a blue baseball cap, and possibly of Hispanic or Indian descent.
Officers spoke with the victim who refused to cooperate with officers during the interview.
