Detectives Need Help Identifying Vehicle in October Beacon Hill Shooting

UPDATE 11/13/18:

Detectives are now releasing surveillance video from the scene in an attempt to identify any possible suspects in this ongoing investigation.  In the video, you can see a black 2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car speed down the street while an occupant fires shots at a group of people.  The victim is struck by a round and falls to the ground as the suspect vehicle continues along South Dawson Street. ORIGINAL 10/22/18:

Gang Unit Detectives are investigating after a man was shot in the stomach in the Beacon Hill neighborhood Monday evening.

Witnesses began calling 911 just after 5 p.m. to report shots fired at Martin Luther King Way and South Dawson Street.

Patrol officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot in the stomach.  Officers provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Detectives spoke with witnesses who said the victim was walking towards a business in the area when a black sedan drove by and the passenger opened fire striking the victim once.  Witnesses said the suspect vehicle was last seen speeding away northbound.

This remains an active investigation and details may change as additional information is gathered.
