Detectives are investigating after a man was shot late Friday night in the Rainier Valley neighborhood.
Witnesses called 911 just before 11 p.m. to reports shots fired in the 7200 block of Rainier Avenue South. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Seattle Fire Department Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers interviewed witnesses and believe the shooting took place following a disturbance outside of the man’s residence. Witnesses went on to say the suspects then entered a car and sped off, striking multiple parked vehicles in the process.
Detectives will continue to work with the witnesses and victim in an effort to develop a possible suspect description.
