On September 7th, at approximately 7:37 pm, Southwest Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 9400 Block of 11th Avenue SW. Officers and Seattle Fire arrived and located a man, believed to be 20, with a gun shot wound to his back. The victim was treated by SFD and transported to Harborview Medical Center. A suspect vehicle may be a blue car, possibly a Pontiac, which fled the scene. This is preliminary information, as this is an active and on going investigation, and is subject to change.
