Robbery detectives have arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of violently attacking and robbing a woman outside of her south Seattle home late last month.
On April 23, two men approached a woman outside her home near 34th Place S. and Holly Park Drive S., and shoved her into a wall. One of the suspects grabbed for the woman’s purse, and slammed her head into the wall when she refused to let go of her bag.
When the woman finally dropped her purse, the suspects grabbed it and took off. As the suspects fled, one of the men dropped his cell phone on the ground.
Detectives were able use the phone to track down the 19-year-old suspect, and arrested him at his home Wednesday.
Detectives are still looking for the other suspect in the case.
