A man sustained life-threatening injuries after being shot multiple times in West Seattle before midnight. At approximately 11:20 p.m. on April 1st, 2013 officers responded to a shots fired call in the 2900 block of SW Charlestown Street. Upon arrival officers discovered a 27-year-old male victim on the ground with several gunshot wounds to the torso. It is unknown at this time what preceeded the shooting.
Fire department medics responded and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Two male suspects were seen running westbound on SW Charlestown Street and then northbound into an alley. They fled the scene in a light-colored vehicle and remain at large.
Homicide/Assault detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
