An off-duty Seattle Police officer was arrested Sunday night for a domestic violence assault. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office notified the Seattle Police Department of the arrest. The employee was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for misdemeanor domestic violence assault.
The officer has been with the department since January 2019, and is assigned to Patrol Operations Bureau. She has been administratively reassigned pending the on-going investigation.
The department has initiated the Office of Police Accountability (OPA) complaint process. The OPA will actively monitor the on-going Snohomish County criminal case for developments. Upon the conclusion of the criminal case, OPA will proceed with a separate administrative investigation into the officer’s conduct.
