Seattle Police responded to a man threatening to shoot a staff member of an apartment building in Pioneer Square neighborhood Friday evening.
Police arrived just before 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South and spoke with a witness who reported having a confrontation with a man earlier that displayed what looked like a gun. This same man then approached a staff member and threatened to shoot him with no provocation.
The 27-year-old male victim left the location prior to police arrival. Officers located the 58-year-old male suspect and obtained a search warrant to take him into custody.
During the search, officers also recovered a pellet gun.
The suspect was arrested for felony harassment and booked into King County Jail.
