At 1032 hours, a public parking garage at 800 block of Blanchard Street. The suspect called 911 to report a car prowl. After 15 minutes of waiting, the suspect called 911 again because he wasn’t happy about the wait. The suspect stated that three people had been shot, he needed the police and provided false information to the call taker. The suspect was arrested for False Reporting and booked into KC Jail.
#2023-313759/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2015 hours, two juvenile suspects approached a victim on a scooter, stated they were armed with a gun and knife, and forcefully robbed the victim of his scooter. Minutes later, a second victim nearby reported two juvenile suspects matching the descriptions attempted to rob him. Officers responded, located the two suspects, and took them into custody. No weapons located. Suspects were booked into YSC.
