#2025-191537/North Precinct/Second Watch/U2:
At 1924 hours, a suspect entered an Inn in the U-District, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was given some cash and quickly left the immediate area on foot. It was discovered through video that the suspect got into a vehicle with no plates and left the area before officers arrived. The area checked negative.
#2025-191560/West Precinct/Third Watch/D3:
At 1941 hours, General Investigations Unit (GIU) detectives responded to the area Denny WY / Eastlake AV for a repeat ORT offender that was observed in the store. This subject, who had yet to be identified, is also the suspect of several ORT investigations by ULTA resulting in over 10K in losses. In support of GIU, 3rd watch West units stopped and detained the suspect. The suspect was identified and trespassed from all REIs for life as well as booked for his outstanding warrant. GIU detectives will conduct the follow-up investigation.
