#2024-003416/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1416 hours a patrol officer was proactively looking for a stolen vehicle from earlier. He located said vehicle, figured out which room the suspect who parked it was in and discovered he had 1st degree robbery warrant. Officers surrounded the building, hailed the suspect, obtained a dialogue with the suspect via telephone and deescalated the situation. The suspect was in the motel with his infant and the infants mother. After talking with the suspect for an extended period of time he eventually came out peacefully without incident. One firearm was recovered from the scene.

#2024-003466/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1505 hours GIU detectives were leaving the East Precinct on E Pine St when they observed the suspect riding a lime scooter WB on Pine. The suspect jumped off the scooter and walked towards an unoccupied marked SPD patrol vehicle. The suspect looked around the vehicle and then walked to the driver side. The suspect then tried to open the driver side door however the PIU was locked and secure. Detectives alerted this over east air and uniformed officers contacted and arrested the suspect for theft of a motor vehicle with criminal attempt. The suspect was transported and booked into KCJ.

#2024-003048/East Precinct/First Watch:

Officers were investigating the stolen recovery of a vehicle and subsequently made an arrest for a DOC Escape Warrant. While taking the suspect into custody someone from a nearby, second story parking garage, threw a Lime-Bike down at the officers car causing significant damage. The suspect was not located, however, private security footage was located and entered as evidence. No officers were injured.

#2024-003784/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 2233 hours officers heard shots coming from the area of S McClellan St and 29 Ave S. Officers determined that the shots came from the side yard of a residence. Officers located 12 spent casings on the side yard. Officers contacted the occupants of the residence. After a thorough investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest one of the occupants for the unlawful discharge of a firearm. The suspect was booked into KCJ. The involved firearm was collected as evidence.

#2024-003830/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2300 hours, a Seattle Park Ranger conducted an operation to enforce the Cal Anderson Park closure at 2330 hours. Rangers gave warnings for 30 minutes over their vehicle PA system, and then walked through the park at 2330 hours advising people to leave. All but a group of approximately 10 people were cooperative. Those 10 people had erected canopies and put in a fire pit. CRG assisted The Park Rangers with enforcing the trespass, once presented with the possibility of arrest the group removed their items from the park. One arrest was made for obstruction and trespass.

#2024-003879/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

The complainant called 911 to report hearing several shots in the area of the 2600 BLK of SW Brandon St. Officers arrived and checked the area. Officers located two fired cartridge casings and they were recovered.
