#2024-003868/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0131 hours, four masked subjects entered a business in the 7300 block of Aurora Av N and brandished a firearm. They stole a cash register and cigars. They then fled in a stolen KIA. Suspects not located.

#2024-004107/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0942 hours, a note was passed to the bank teller in the 14300 block of 15th Avenue NE stating, “this is a robbery.” The suspect fled with a small amount of cash. Units arrived within minutes; however, the suspect was not located. A K9 track was also attempted.

#2024-004533/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1747 hours, officers responded to Green Lake for a report of a male that was chasing park goers around with a crowbar. Officers arrived and spoke to multiple witnesses that observed the male chasing joggers on the trail while raising the weapon over his head as if to strike them. The suspect had retreated to his van, which was parked in the parking lot. Officers formulated a plan with CRT and HNT to contact the suspect. The suspect refused to exit the van and officers eventually approached the vehicle, ported the window, and took the suspect into custody without incident. A search warrant was applied for and executed and a silver tire iron was recovered from the vehicle.

#2024-004591/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1913 hours, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation at which point the vehicle immediately fled into oncoming traffic. Officers terminated their attempt to stop the vehicle and observed as the suspect ran at least 2 red lights as they drove away. Officers continued in the direction of the vehicle and located it empty in a nearby parking lot. A security guard directed officers to the suspect who then fled on foot. During the foot pursuit, the suspect ran to the SMT and then jumped from the elevated stairway on the south side resulting in significant injuries to the suspect. Officers rendered aid while they awaited SFD. The suspect was placed under arrest for a felony VUCSA warrant, eluding and related traffic offenses.

#2024-004753/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2252 hours a victim arrived at a local weed shop in the 2200 block of 4th Ave S. He exited his vehicle, entered the store, made a purchase and returned to his vehicle. When he approached his vehicle the suspect drew a handgun on the victim, demanded his marijuana and wallet. The victim complied and fled the area. The suspect also fled the area on foot, southbound on 3rd or 4th Ave S. An extensive search for the suspect was conducted but he was not located.
