#2024-019641/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0140 hours, several shots calls came into 911 in the area of N 102nd Street and Aurora Ave N. Officers arrived in the area and located several fired cartridge casings. No property damage or victims located. Scene processed by patrol.
#2024-019686/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At about 0432 hours, officers responded to an ATM alarm. The ATM is a stand-alone ATM, and the alarm indicated a door tampering trigger. While units were still responding, the call was updated that a white box truck was present, as seen on camera. The truck on scene was the vehicle stolen earlier in the night. When officers arrived, the vehicle and suspects were gone. The face plate of the ATM had been removed and the access door had been pried open. There were also cut wires from the ATM on the ground. An area check for the vehicle yielded negative results.
#2024-020517/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2145 hours SW Patrol responded to a report of an Armed Robbery at a business at 35 Ave SW and SW Roxbury St. Suspects fled prior to police response. Victim reported that two suspects had entered with a handgun and proceeded to steal cash and product from the business before fleeing towards the alley. SPD Robbery was notified of the incident. SW Patrol processed the scene for evidence.
#2024-020487/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2034 hours, Officers responded to a collision in the 8600 block of M L King Jr Way S for single vehicle vs. Light rail. Officers arrived and shut down NB MLK. No injuries. Officers conducted DUI investigation of the driver of the vehicle and placed him under arrest for DUI. Incident was screened with TCIS.
