#2024-021019/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1142 hours, officers received a hazard call for a male throwing rock onto I-5 at the 1000 blk of Pike St. Upon arrival, officer witnessed first-hand a male throwing a large chunk of concrete over the fence and down approximately 50ft onto the interstate. Officers immediately engaged the suspect who fled west bound, resulting in a short foot pursuit before apprehending the individual.
#2024-021110/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1259 hours on officers were dispatched to a stabbing call in the 500 block of Elliot Avenue West. The victim stated the suspect attacked him because of an altercation they had earlier in the day. Victim sustained lacerations on his forearms and hands and was transported to HMC via AMR. The victim and witnesses stated that the suspect fled eastbound on foot. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspect. Incident was screened with Homicide and PIO was notified.
#2024-021462/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1853 hours, a small protest developed outside the East Pct. This protest involved approximately 20-30 protesters and included 6 vehicles that blocked E Pine St at 12th and 11th Ave’s. The protesters remained outside the precinct for approximately 45 minutes before departing with no issues. 242 was notified.
