#2023-360889/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 1050 hours, the victim exited I5 at Northgate when an SUV occupied by three suspects rear-ended him. The victim got out to exchange information and the suspect vehicle sped away WB on N Northgate Way, failing to leave state required information. The victim chased the suspects for several blocks until they stopped at the intersection of N 107 ST/Whitman Ave N. The three suspects proceeded to assault the victim by punching, kicking and stomping on him, causing a laceration to the victim’s head. The suspects stole the victims cell phone and wallet before stealing the victim’s vehicle and leaving in an unknown direction. Patrol responded to the scene to summon aid for the victim and complete an area check for the suspects. The suspects were not located. The suspect vehicle was impounded.

#2023-3609080/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1155 hours, two residents of an apartment complex got into a verbal altercation. The altercation intensified. The suspect went into his apartment, obtained a firearm, went out and confronted the victim in a common area of the complex. The suspect shoved the firearm into the ribs of the suspect and threatened to kill him. The victim was also armed with a firearm but did not use it. The suspect was arrested without incident. Both firearms were collected and placed into evidence.

#2023-360914/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1500 hours, officers from Patrol, Poet, and CRG monitored the weekly Saturday Pro-Palestinian protest at Westlake Park. Approximately 1000 protesters gathered in the park. The group marched to 1 Av and Pike St and entered Pike Place Market. After several speeches they left the Market and returned to Westlake Park. The demonstration ended around 1700. Traffic in the downtown core was significantly impacted during this incident.

#2023-361379/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1956 hours, officers responded to a report of 10 shots fired from the west of 3900 M L King Jr Wy S. Officers arrived and located 15 .45 caliber spent shell casings in the roadway in the 3800 block of Cheasty Blvd. No suspect/vehicle information. Officers photographed collected and submitted the evidence.

#2023-361394/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2036 hours, officers were dispatched to Harborview Medical Center for an assault call where a patient used sexually derogatory terms towards a male nurse and spat on him. Other nurses who were assisting stated they believed the suspect targeted that specific nurse due to his perceived sexual orientation. Subject was booked into KCJ for Assault 3.
