On 01-30-09 at 4:43 p.m., Seattle Fire personnel were treating a patient in the 1500 block of 56th NW. A friend of the patient, who was apparently intoxicated, stepped in and threw a punch striking a fire-fighter over the left eye. Seattle Fire personnel called police for a fast back-up. Police arrived and arrested the suspect, he was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault. The suspect was also under Dept. of Correction’s supervision.
