Public assistance sought in locating homicide suspect

SEATTLE – The Seattle Police Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in a homicide that occurred on July 19th 2009, just shortly after 3:00 a.m.
The unknown suspect entered a residence in the 700 block of S. Rose St., and attacked two women, who were asleep. The 37-year-old victim was fatally wounded during the attack. The second victim, 40-years-old, was cut multiple times but managed to flee from the house.
The suspect left the residence and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male, 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, thin muscular build, a thin moustache, and “nappy” hair.
The Homicide detectives are investigating this case. Anyone with information is urged to call the Seattle Police Department Homicide Unit at (206) 684-5550 or through Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS or send a test to “crimes” (274637).
