Armed Home-Invasion Robbery in South Seattle

On January 10th at 1:20 p.m. the 16-year-old male victim was home by himself in the 2300 block of 29th Avenue South when he heard noises at the back door.  He went to investigate and was confronted by two armed adult males who ordered him to get down onto the ground and place his hands behind his back.  The suspects bound the victim at the wrists and ankles.  The suspects then placed duct tape over his mouth and placed him inside a closet.  The suspects then proceeded to ransack the victim’s home.  The victim thought he heard a couple more suspects join the original two.  After a while, everything was quiet.

Approximately 30 minutes later, the victim’s father arrived home to find him still in the closet.  He untied his son and called 911.  Responding officers searched the area however, the suspects remain at large.

The suspects stole two flat screen TV’s, two computers, and other electronics.  Robbery detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
