On October 4th at approximately 10:40 a.m. officers responded to a bank robbery in the 1700 block of North 45th Street in Wallingford. The suspect was gone upon the officers’ arrival. Preliminary investigation indicates that the adult male suspect presented a note to a teller but left the bank empty handed. No weapon was seen.
A North Precinct patrol officer responding to the area spotted the suspect and arrested him. The 45-year-old male suspect will be booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
Robbery detectives continue to actively investigate.
