The shooting incident in West Seattle yesterday is being investigated by Gang detectives. The victim did not cooperate with detectives initially, but has since admitted that the shooting was accidental, and done by a known person. Both the victim and the suspect were inside the car when the suspect accidently fired a gun inside the car, striking the victim in the thigh. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the police arriving, but detectives are following up on this case. The injury is not considered life-threatening.
