The 2012 Men in Kilts competition is a fundraiser in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and Alaska. Lieutenant Eric Sano of the West Precinct is one of the contestants. Each $25 vote sponsors one night of housing for a family at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. Carter Turk, a fellow Man in a Kilt, and his family stayed at Ronald McDonald House last year while his daughter was being treated for leukemia at Seattle Childrens. This is their story.
