One man was wounded early Saturday morning when a gunman—or gunmen—fired a dozen rounds into a Central District home.
Around 4:30 am on July 7th, the 44-year-old victim was sitting in the living room of a home near 27th Avenue and E Spring Street when he heard gunshots.
The man was hit in the lower leg by one round. He went into the kitchen inside the home, and called 911.
Medics arrived and took the man to Harborview.
At the scene, officers collected a dozen shell casings outside the home. Neighbors also told officers they heard a vehicle speeding away from the scene, but couldn’t provide a description of the car.
