West Precinct Anti-Crime Team arrest man for cocaine delivery

Early this morning, members of the West Precinct Anti-Crime Team (ACT) made an arrest of a cocaine dealer and recovered about a half ounce of crack cocaine. During the course of their routine crime prevention and law enforcement duties, West ACT officers were able to set up a deal with an individual for the sale of a quarter ounce of crack cocaine. The deal took place in a Shoreline parking lot, and the suspect was arrested without incident at about 1:30 am.   Fourteen grams of crack cocaine ( a street value of approximately $1400), along with $770 in cash was seized from the suspect. The suspected substance field-tested positive for cocaine.  In addition to the charge of Investigation of VUCSA-Delivery, the 31 year old man was also booked into the King County Jail for a Department of Corrections felony warrant and a misdemeanor warrant for Negligent Driving in the 1st Degree.
