Robbery detectives are looking for suspects in a Halloween home invasion on Beacon Hill after a family opened their front door expecting trick-or-treaters, and instead found three armed men dressed like the Grim Reaper.
The three suspects—dressed all in black and wearing what the victims described as “grim reaper costumes”—knocked on the door of a home near 17th Avenue S. and S. Ferdinand around 9:15 last night.
When one of the victims opened the door, the suspects pulled out handguns and forced their way into the home.
One of the suspects forced a male victim into a bedroom in the home and took a large amount of cash, gold earrings and a necklace, and a cd wallet.
The suspects fled the home and ran east on S. Ferdinand Street. The victims were not injured in the incident.
