Robbery detectives are looking for a bad Santa who walked into a Beacon Hill bank Monday afternoon, handed a teller a demand note (which he’d forgotten to spell check), and then left the bank without any money.
Around 3:30 pm, the suspect walked into a Bank of America on Beacon Avenue S and S Bayview Street and handed a teller a note informing him that “this is a robary.”
For some reason, the suspect left the bank without taking any cash, and then hopped a bus as bank staff called police.
When the suspect got off the bus, he was kind enough to leave his Santa hat behind for detectives.
