Man Left With Minor Stab Wound After View Ridge Mugging

A robbery victim was left with a minor stab wound after he was mugged in the View Ridge neighborhood early this morning.

The victim got off a bus near 65th and 36th Ave NE just after 1 am and was walking southbound when three suspects jumped out of some bushes and attacked him.

The suspects hit the victim in his head, knocked him to the ground and apparently stabbed him in back, leaving him with a half-inch wound. The suspects then fled with the victim’s bag.

The victim was able to run home and called 911. Unfortunately, when police arrived, the victim wasn’t able to provide officers with a description of the suspects. Officers tried searching for the suspects with the help of a K9 unit, but weren’t able to find them.

The victim was then taken to University of Washington Medical Center by a private ambulance.
