Just after midnight Sunday, police got a report that a man had slashed the tires on a car parked on NE 47th and Roosevelt Way NE, and run off.
Officers tracked the man to a parking lot near 8th Avenue NE of NE 45th Street, and a witness was able to identify the man as the suspected tire-slasher.
After officers arrested the suspect and took him to the North Precinct, they searched the suspect’s backpack and found a plastic container filled with feces inside.
Officers disposed of the man’s biohazardous backpack, and booked him into the King County Jail for property destruction.
