Recognize These Guys? They Pulled a Gun On a Clerk to Steal Candy and Batteries (Updated)

UPDATE 1/11: Acting on a tip, detectives arrested the main suspect—a 15-year-old—in Kent and booked him into the Youth Service Center for robbery. Detectives also recovered a BB gun pistol during their investigation. Detectives are no longer looking for the other two men who accompanied the suspect to the store, as it appears they were not involved in the robbery.

Detectives are looking for tip which could help them track down three young men who robbed a West Seattle 7-11 at gunpoint last month.

Just before 1:30 am on December 2nd, the three men—believed to be between 18 and 20 years old—walked into a 7-11 near SW Admiral Way and California Ave SW, grabbed batteries and candy bars off the store’s shelves, went up to the front counter, and asked the clerk if they could buy some cigars.

When the clerk asked to see their ID, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and pointed it at the clerk.

The suspects demanded cash from the register, but ended up leaving the store with only candy and batteries.

The suspects then jumped into a burgundy or dark green Ford Explorer outside the store and fled.
