Officers arrested a woman after she shot at another woman inside a vehicle this morning.

At approximately 2:04 a.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a fight disturbance in the area of the Noc Noc bar located at 2nd Avenue and Pike Street. One complainant stated a gunshot was heard.  Officers arrived in the area but were unable to locate any signs of shots being fired.  Officers asked people in the immediate area if they had heard any shots.  No one came forward.  Officers were unable to locate any evidence of a crime scene in the area.

A little while later police were informed that a gunshot victim had arrived at Harborview Medical Center (HMC).  Officers and Gang Unit detectives responded to HMC to investigate.

Upon further investigation it was revealed that there was a fight disturbance.  The female victim was in the front seat of a car.  The female suspect was in the rear seat of the same car.  The suspect pulled out a pistol and discharged the gun.  The bullet went through the front passenger seat.  The bullet may have grazed the victim, scratching her on the buttocks.  The doctors at HMC informed officers that the victim did NOT have a gunshot wound.

Upon further investigation officers recovered a pistol and a shell casing from the suspect vehicle.

The 23-year-old female suspect was a convicted felon and was subsequently booked into the King County Jail for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Gang Unit detectives continue to actively investigate.
