BBs Fired at Pizza Restaurant on Capitol Hill (UPDATED)

Updated 7/1/2013:

At the scene, officers found what appeared to be damage from BB pellets in a window at the restaurant. Several customers heard what “sounded like a rock hitting the window” and noticed several small holes in the window.

An unknown suspect who fired gunshots at a pizza restaurant early this morning remains at large.

Luckily, nobody was injured.

At approximately 12:06 a.m. officers responded to the Amante Pizza and Pasta restaurant located in the 1500 block of East Olive Way for a report of shots fired at the restaurant.  Preliminary information indicates that an unknown suspect shot at the front window of the restaurant and fled the scene.  Nobody was injured during the incident, which remains under active investigation.

There is no suspect description available at this time.
