Detectives have arrested a suspect in a robbery, car chase and shooting last week in West Seattle and are now investigating him for several other crimes.
SPD’s Robbery Unit, working with the Washington State Department of Corrections, were able to track down and arrest the 23-year-old suspect. Police believe he was also involved in another robbery on Capitol Hill, where he forced a man to hand over an expensive belt at gunpoint. Detectives are also investigating whether the man is connected to several other robberies in the North and Southwest Precincts.
Detectives booked the suspect into King County Jail for investigation of robbery and assault.
